Lead me beside still waters
A prayer from Psalm 23 does a good job of describing our day of travel: the “water” de-iceing the plane, the turquoise water of the Bahamas as we flew over, the ocean just out of view as we road in the bus toward Santo Domingo.
About 18 hours of travel yesterday means we have lots of time to stroll the 500 year old streets of the Colonial Zone, get to know the rest of the group and wonder about prayer. If prayer is paying attention our walking and talking takes on the form of worship.
Where do you want to pay attention today?
