Plant Pick-Up, Wednesday, May 14, Noon-7:00 p.m.  Plan to pick up your order from the youth plant sale at Peace.  A few extra bedding plants will be available.  Thanks for your support!

Next Sunday, begin our summer worship schedule with one worship service at 9:00 a.m.  The music groups of Peace will present the music festival, "A Mighty God for a Mighty Call."

VBS registration forms are available at the Information Center.  Ranch Camp will be July 14-17.

Please stop by the nursery and check out the wonderful decorations donated and hung by the Cub Scout Pack 538, Den #3.  Many thanks to Sharon Grandy and other parents who helped the Scouts make paintings and purchase other decor.  It has really brightened up the nursery for our little ones!

Altar Flowers today are given in memory of their mothers, Helen Olson and Manda Kinneberg; by Jack and Marian Olson.

Spring Rummage/Bake Sale a big success! Over 800 volunteer hours and $6,100 in sales plus $1,600 in matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.  $7,700 will be donated to Meals on Wheels, Families Moving Forward, TreeHouse, IOCP, Kid's Care Connection, Marie Sandvik Center, Habitat for Humanity, MICAH, and our Peace Youth mission trip fund.

Leftover from the sale:  there are three desks, one chair and a four-drawer file cabinet.  They are free to anyone who wants them.  They are currently located in the Activity Room.

Please sign up!  Spots are still availablefor the Habitat for Humanity build in Ramsey on May 21st.  And, slots are available for the May 21st blood drive.  Sign up following services or call Pam Jette @ 612-986-5898.

This event will be held at Peace on Tuesday, May 20.  Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Check out www.treehouseyouth.org to learn more.  You are asked to RSVP to Ben Bevis at bbevis@treehouseyouth.org or call 612-203-1254.

"Forgiveness and Grace at the Cross."  Come to this WordAlone Meeting to hear the personal witness of people whose lives, held in the grip of homosexuality and sexual abuse, were transformed by the grace of God.  This meeting is held on Thursday, May 22, for the Saint Paul and Minneapolis Area Synods at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley.

Summer Devotionals available-pick up a copy of Davey and Goliath at the Information Center.

Did you get your copy of Metro Lutheran this month?  There is just something funny about being Lutheran and the Church Basement Ladies help us figure that out.  Read about their new offering "Church Basement Ladies II:  A Second Helping," on page 19, and read an interview with a troupe member, Greta Grosch, on page 7.

Knitting club will meet Tuesday, May 20 at 10 o'clockam.  Bring any kind of needlework you enjoy; you don't have to knit to meet with this group. This is not a class, but if you want to learn, they can help.  Meet around the tables in the narthex for fellowship and encouragement!
