Worship is at the very center of our life together as a Christian community. Here God speaks to us in his Word and gives himself to us in Holy Communion. We respond with our songs and our prayers. So Sunday after Sunday, we are strengthened for another week of vibrant living under his grace.

We worship in a variety of ways at Peace, both traditional and contemporary. Often there are special celebrations, which include special choral works and participation by our children. Three choirs, a hand chime choir, and a group of contemporary worship leaders enhance our worship.

Children are always welcome at worship and we encourage parents to help them participate in ways that are appropriate for their age level. Often there is a special part in the service for them--a special song or recitation, or children's sermon. Activity bags (located on a special "tree" as you enter the sanctuary) are available for younger children.

There is a nursery for children through age three available during worship for children to use the whole hour or just for those fussy times. It is located near the church entrance in Room 112. In our nursery we have diapers, wipes, snacks, toys and books. These items can also be borrowed and brought to worship to keep little hands busy as children learn to sit and join in worship. The nursery is for children from infancy through three years of age.
